2024 RCS Gugs Run for Unity

Event Details:

The 2024 RCS GUGS Run for Unity took place on the 16th of December 2024 from 06h30 at the NY 49 Stadium in Gugulethu, Western Cape. Distances included a 10km and a 4.2km race.

RCS Group, a financial services company, partnered with the Gugulethu Athletic Club to establish the RCS Gugulethu Athletic Club. RCS Group has been supporting the club through various initiatives, such as sponsoring running events like the RCS Gugs Reconciliation Day 10 and 4.2 km and the RCS Gugulethu Youth Day 10 km.

The RCS Gugulethu Club focuses on promoting athletics and community development in Gugulethu, Cape Town.

HIS Servant received free entries to the 4.2km Fun Run and it was indeed a lot of fun. The ladies who bravely participated were very happy they did. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere on the road was spectacular.

Thank you so much RCS. It was a day we will never forget, especially the special treatment in the VIP tent.

Hopefully next year we will return for the 10km race.
